Vance Garda’s Story Begins here…
The Rangers exist to protect normal humans from the creatures of legend: vampires, fairies, wizards, shifters and werewolves who tell everyone they are “hulking.” The problem is your average vampire, fairy, wizard, self-aggrandizing werewolf, etc. is actually pretty decent and most are just trying to keep their heads down and live their lives.
That’s why there’s werewolf Vance Garda and the Kansas City Chapter of the Paranormal Protection Society. Their job is to protect paranormals and deter the Rangers from getting too aggressive. However, when a set of mysterious necklaces cause three paranormals to kill a local media personality, even Vince and his new fae partner may not be enough to keep war from spilling out into the human world.
