Vance is settling into a new routine with a new captain, a new partner, and lots of paranormals to protect. That doesn’t last long, though, because his world is again thrown into chaos. After a Ranger hangout goes up in a fireball, a local sports hero will run for office on an anti-paranormal platform.
Something seems off. What would cause a celebrity, philanthropist and generally likeable public figure to suddenly change? And why is Vance’s ex back to cause more problems?
Now, it will be up to Vance, Glenda, Kolchan, and the rest of the PPS to figure out what is going on and find a way to keep the world safe for mundanes and paranormals alike.
